A 14-year-old girl was assaulted on Monday by a female in an alleyway between Harmans Way and Lancers Way, Weedon.
The incident happened between 5pm and 5.20pm, when the local girl was walking along the alleyway and she was approached by another female who spoke to her in an aggressive manner.
The female then physically assaulted her, causing an injury to the face.
The female is described as white, 5’10” in height, dark coloured hair and wearing a cardigan.
Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
