Air Ambulance rescues driver after accident on A43 near Brackley

THE AIR Ambulance was called into action today to help a driver following an incident on the A43 near Brackley.

The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance landed in a field next to the scene of the crash at around 8.45am.

A man in his 20s was thrown clear from the car but suffered head and facial injuries.

The WNAA doctor and paramedic on board assessed the patient and found he had no other injuries.

They travelled with the patient in the East Midlands Ambulance Service land ambulance to the nearest trauma unit at John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford to ensure continuity of care.
