Northampton BID launched the ‘Discover Northampton’ campaign, a three-part campaign that will showcase all that the BID area has to offer.
Businesses in the BID area were invited to the new Borjia Bar, Castilian Street, to ‘Discover each other’, last night.
The aim of the event was to get businesses in the BID area to learn about each other, work together and promote each other’s businesses to new and existing customers.
The event was an informal opportunity for businesses to ‘buddy’ with a complementary business and for each to proactively promote their ‘buddy’ to their customer base through recommendation. It was also an opportunity to learn in detail what ‘Discover Northampton’ is all about.
Northampton BID Director, Yvonne Spence, said: “It was great to see so many businesses attend the launch of Discover Northampton. This campaign is designed for the businesses, it is all about the businesses and needs the businesses for its success.
“I hope from tonight’s event, business owners promote a complementary business in the BID area to new and existing customers through word-of-mouth recommendation, and sign up to the next two phases. And finally help Northamptonshire to DISCOVER just what and how much the Town Centre has to offer.”
