A distinctive black van was stolen after a burglar broke into a house to snatch the keys.
The offender got into the rear of the property while the occupants were in bed and stole keys which were then used to take the vehicle.
The van belongs to well known local company Sheltune and it is the only one of its kind in the county.
It is a black Volkswagen Transporter and its registration number begins FG61.
The word Sheltune is written on either side in large yellow letters.
The van was taken from Windingbrook Lane, Collingtree Park, Northampton, on Saturday between midnight and 7am.
