The county Toy Library is in business again following a successful campaign by parents.
The service, which had its funding cut by Northamptonshire County Council, is re-opening on Tuesday.
Negotiations with council chiefs and pledges of about £5,000 from councillors from their Empowering fund, means that campaigners have managed to safeguard the future of the service which is now being run by a voluntary group.
The service has moved to Park Square, Kings Heath and will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
